A new treatment suite adds spa, massage and beauty services for both residents and day guests, extending average spend per stay.
A new treatment suite at The Chatsworth Hotel has opened as a standalone profit centre, offering spa, massage and beauty services to day guests as well as hotel residents.
Underused space is one of the most common findings in our commercial reviews. At The Chatsworth, a quiet lower-ground area carried cost without generating revenue. Converting it into a wellness centre created new income without adding a single bedroom.
Because the centre trades to the local market as well as to residents, it is not dependent on hotel occupancy. It has also extended average spend per stay, with treatments frequently booked alongside dinner in the restaurant.
The project is a straightforward illustration of our consultancy approach — finding revenue in space an owner already has.
